2016 Hyundai Tucson : new technologies

This summer in Quebec, in addition to welcome the heat and sun with open arms, we will also have the chance to ride on the roads of the South Shore of Montreal with the new Hyundai SUV. Revealed for the first time on March 3rd, 2015 at the Auto Show in Geneva, Switzerland, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson seems to have it all to delight car enthusiasts of Québec. Since your Hyundai dealer in St-Jean, near Brossard and Longueuil, wants its customers to be the wisest possible, we decided to write this article to inform you about, among other things, technical specifications and new technologies that will be offered this new Hyundai SUV.

First, in terms of new technologies, the new Hyundai SUV is very promising since it has outstanding technological characteristics of convenience and safety. For example, it has the Liftgate Smart Hands-free option and ventilated front seats consisting of a stain resistant fabric. It is also equipped with an automatic emergency braking system, a proactive steering corrector and a rear radar scanner of 180°. Finally, the Blind Spot Detection keep a constant eye on traffic through its Cross Traffic Alert and detection of blind spots. In short, these are all options to travel comfortably and safely.

Performance-wise, those looking for higher driving efficiency levels will be immediately be charmed by the 2016 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 L turbo and 174 horses engine. It not only offers better fuel economy, but also a power transmitted through a 7-speed peak.

Finally, although at first glance the outline of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson gives the impression of being bigger than its predecessor – giving it more of a resemblance to the Sante Fe Sport than the Tucson 2015 – in fact, its dimensions are only slightly larger than the model it replaces. Indeed, this new vehicle is only 2.6 inches longer than before, with 176.2 inches long overall. This optical illusion is mainly caused by the fact that the profile is square, with a very large hood and asymmetrical wheels with a black plastic coating arc that increases the perceived size. In a statement issued at the grand unveiling of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson, the president and great leader of Design Hyundai Motor Group, Peter Schreyer, said that this new SUV Hyundai would stand out by its innovative aesthetics that will transform the Hyundai brand. He also described the new Tucson as a vehicle to athletic look and fluid forms.
